A new European standard, EN 18286, Artificial intelligence – Quality management system for EU AI Act Regulatory Purposes, has been published, providing organizations with a structured framework to support the management of AI systems in line with Article 17 of the EU AI Act.
The standard is particularly relevant to providers of high-risk AI systems. It sets out requirements and guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving a quality management system designed for organizations that provide AI systems.
